L’histoire suit Mire Yoshizuki, 27 ans, employée de bureau de Tokyo qui vient de rentrer au Japon, Sora Nagase, 22 ans, étudiante de quatrième année, qui aspire à devenir enseignante, et Hiroshima, jeune garçon de 20 ans, à temps partiel. Okonomiyaki, ouvrière et pigiste Reika Kawatani. Ce qui rassemble ces trois femmes d’horizons complètement différents est un joyau magique. Une « nouvelle histoire magique » commence quand ils sont mystérieusement réunis par hasard et se lancent dans un voyage.
